Kestrelwhisker is a small tortoiseshell tom.
Appearance[]
Physical[]
Kestrelwhisker is a physical wonder. Tortoiseshell males are quite rare; he happens to be the only one in CloudClan, although there are a few female tortoiseshells in there as well. His fur is a mix of black and pale brown-ginger, and quite short in length, being of a bristly quality. He has a thin chest, not so much muscle, and wide amber eyes much the same color as the pale brown-ginger parts of his pelt. His ears are reasonably large, although his paws are quite small, and his tail is of a good length, perhaps a few hairs longer then what would be considered normal.
Personality[]
This tortoiseshell tom is the kind of cat who could be frightened by his own shadow. He is quite a jumpy and nervous young feline, and very timid.
Kestrelwhisker is not very social, and bad at communicating as a result. Therefore, he is considered to be insensitive by many, although he actually just doesn't understand how other cat's minds work.
Kestrelwhisker deeply admires Hayleap, often hanging on his brother's words. He admits that Hayleap is the superior cat, believing Hayleap over his better judgement, and listening to his brother over himself.
Skills[]
Kestrelwhisker is a skilled medicine cat, quite adept at healing his clanmates, although he still has much to learn, as Vixenleap is fond of telling him.
History[]
Background[]
Kestrelkit was born to Goldenpetal and Troutshadow, and apprenticed to Thriftface. When his mother died from a fox attack, Kestrelpaw swore to make sure that no other's died from their wounds like she did, and with Thriftface's blessing, stopped his warrior training and learned under a new mentor, Vixenleap, CloudClan's medicine cat. He learned quickly, discovering that he had a talent for healing, and recieved his full name within eight moons of training.
Roleplay[]
Kestrelwhisker first makes an appearance helping heal the warriors who were injured in a skirmish with a badger. He mentions to Vixenleap that he had a dream involving his mother, and that she had showed him a deathberry seed lying in the shadows. His interpretation of this was that the killer was new to CloudClan, and could be found in the shadows. Icepaw approaches him, asking him about her paw, and he responds that it must of been sprained.

Goldenpetal
- Kestrelwhisker misses his mother with all of his heart, and often wonders what she would think of him if she were still alive.
- The tortoiseshell tom thinks highly of his brother, often comparing himself to the golden tom. He admires Hayleap and generally considers Hayleap's opinion to be better then his own. Kestrelwhisker is slightly disturbed by Hayleap's anger and ambition, as well as they fact that his paws are stained with Deadmist's blood, but accepts that he must of had a good reason to do this.
- Kestrelwhisker likes his leader and aunt, but thinks Hayleap would probably be a far better leader, but doesn't tell Willowstar that, of course. He does respect her though, and admires the way she does not seem to care about loner's backstories, always giving them a chance in her Clan.
- Duskblossom is a bit of a pain, but Kestrelwhisker does not mind. She is a loyal warrior, and would probably make a good deputy eventually if she ever gets over her hate of kits... Kestrelwhisker does not understand why she despises young cats so much.
Friends[]
Thriftface
- Before her death, Kestrelwhisker was close friends with the elder, and feels guilty that he chose to stop training under her, even though he knows that she was proud of the cat he became.
Other[]
- Kestrelwhisker likes his mentor, but sometimes wishes that her infamous temper was a little less... fiery. He deeply appreciates her training though, and feels guilty whenever he thinks about what he wishes she was, feeling like it's a betrayal of her trust. When she dies, he is distraught.
- The medicine cat likes this young she-cat, liking her spirit and determination. Although he does not mention it, he can tell that she is attracted to Smokepaw, and wishes that she would bestow her attentions on somebody more worthy of her.
