Ebonystar is a lanky ebony she-cat of an oriental descent.

Physical[]
Terrifying to kits and awe-striking to the warriors she leads, Ebonystar looks like no other feline. Yet she carries herself with pride and confidence with every step, as her wedge-shaped head and bat-like ears give her a regal essence. She is impressively tall, standing at a height greater than the toms in her clan. Yet she is a thin cat on these spider-like limbs. While she may not be a beefcake, she is athletic by nature with a vertical jump beaten by none.
Ebonystar, as her name might suggest, is a deep, ebony-black by color. Her fur is extremely sleek and always carries a shine, yet it is also somewhat oily to the touch. Her fur is short in length and thin in density.
Personality[]
They say that Ebonystar has a heart of stone, detached and emotionless towards her clanmates and even her family members. She is like a working-class dog: beyond feelings and always focused on her duty. This only makes the leader all the more frightening, as she will stop at nothing to carry out the desires of the Dark Forest ancestors that she serves. Her ambition is strong and her steel-trap mind even stronger, as there is no forcing Ebonystar off of her path.
While she may not be the most empathetic or personable type, she's got to be one of the best mentors around. Indeed, she's terrifying for a youngster to come face-to-face with, but she's dedicated towards training them to perfection. While she's loyal to the Dark Forest, it is evident that Ebonystar's heart will always like with DarkClan, even if she tries to make herself appear as cold as a fresh snow.

While she may not be some beastly beefcake like a maine coon, there is no doubting that Ebonystar has some serious skill. Her combat skills are particularly impressive, considering that she's spent many moons under various Dark Forest masters. She's also silver-tongued when she wants to be, capable of manipulating others whenever she pleases.

Background[]
Ebonykit was born to the previous leader of DarkClan. Her clanmates and Dark Forest ancestors saw greatness in her immediately at birth, so she, along with her brother Crowkit, received special and frequent training, even as a delicate kitten. Her other sister, Jaykit, was neglected from this special treatment.
Even as an apprentice, she showed promising skill under her many Dark Forest mentors. As she grew, so did her ambitions, leading her to ultimately take up her father's throne as the DarkClan leader. She selected her talented brother, Crowshade, as her deputy.

- The relationship that the leader has with her youngest littermate is...difficult to describe, and even more difficult to imagine for a cat as ferocious as Ebonystar. She absolutely adores her younger sister and happens to be very protective of her, despite Jayflight lacking any "great" prophecy-future. Ebonystar gets awfully snappy whenever a cat attempts to degrade the warrior for being either naive or omenless.
- Whereas Ebonystar and Jayflight are two peas in a pod, the bond between Crowshade and Ebonystar is much more "business-like". The two seldom share any brother-sister time since their apprenticeship, and almost regard each other coldly. Nonetheless they work well together, but sometimes, they exhibit their tension, even publicly.

- Even if he is young and somewhat similar to Jayflight, Ebonystar never hesitates to be tough and transparent with the tom. She likes to give him a reality check and keep him in line with the other apprentices. He seems promising so far, but Ebonystar doesn't plan on keeping her hopes up. Not all apprentices survive under her tutorship.
